Todd graduated with a degree in photojournalism, from Columbia College school of film and photography in Chicago. He immediately started assisting well known Chicago wedding photographer David Pearlman and did so for a year.

After being an assistant, Todd wanted to branch out. He moved to Boulder Colorado, and started his business Visual Concepts Photography. Thereafter Todd has worked with countless clients including Janus, Invesco, Sony, and some of the most amazing brides and grooms in the world.

Todd's done portraits for weddings, family portraits, senior class portraits, and band publicity photographs. His work has been published in The London Times, The Atlantic Monthly Journal, and Billboard Magazine to name a few.

His wedding photography has won the acclaim of countless clients all over the world. Todd has shot weddings in Colorado, Chicago, Cozumel Mexico, Quepos Costa Rica, Cape Cod, and Ireland plus many other beautiful locations.

"Documenting the greatest day of two peoples lives, and getting the opportunity to tell the story of what happened on their particular wedding day, offers a great challenge. More importantly though, it let's me show off my story telling skills with the camera. Every wedding is completely different, and needs to be photographed in it's own special way."

Todd has the uncanny ability to capture the special little moments that make up what a wedding day is all about. Emotion, expression, body language, love, joy, and friendship are certainly at the top of the list. At the same time, he's unobtrusive, and very much a people person.

"Someone's wedding day is usually the biggest few hours of their life. It' incredibly satisfying to be a part of such a fantastic afternoon. The images I create, become part of that particular families history, and that to me makes the work I do, incredibly satisfying."
